Setting up and configuring security

If you are an administrator, you can perform most security activities related to managing users in Axiom Financial Institutions Suite, including assigning roles and permissions, quickly and easily using the Security Manager in the Web Client. For more information and instructions, see Web Security Manager.

NOTE: The Security Manager is only available to administrators, subsystem administrators, and users with the Administer Security permission.

However, to perform more in-depth tasks, you will need to use the Security Management dialog in the Desktop Client. Tasks you can perform include:

• Managing users and roles
• Configuring security settings
• Enabling and managing Axiom subsystems
• Editing security in bulk
• Using Axiom security tools
• Integrating security, including Windows Authentication
